Juglah Rocks Project
Cortona Resources owns a 90% interest in the Juglah Rocks project located 50km east of Kalgoorlie (Figure 1), which consists of 5 contiguous prospecting licenses covering an area of 7km2.
The tenement package hosts two lines of historical workings, including the Mt Juglah and Transville deposits. The workings extend for 1.5km strike length along the eastern margin of the Juglah monzogranite. The area is flat and entirely covered with recent alluvium. Previous exploration has been sporadic and sparse. A soil-sampling program highlighted some potential on P25/1797 at the southern end of the package.
Cortona Resources plans to conduct a detailed soil-sampling program in the vicinity of the previous anomaly, and to follow any positive results with a drilling program. The Company will also incorporate the existing data into a database in order to better visualise the distribution of mineralisation and likely geological controls.
